It's almost that time..Christmas that is. When we all madly shop for gifts for relatives having no clue what to get them. But the kids, now thats the fun part. Kids are fun to shop for...it lets us be kids again.
We discovered Bakugan the game over the weekend. Turns out the kids are 'craving' this game. I wrote a write up on the game over at squidoo if your interested in learning more. I'm telling you, your kids will love this game. It combines the morphing power of transformers, with the card game of Pokemon and Magic the Gathering, and the skill of playing marbles.
So anyhow..what do we buy our long lost relative whom were are going to meet at the family get together this year? Gift cards I suppose. They require very little thought, imagination and of course prevents us from buying something that is utterly useless.
Happy shopping everyone...
Using modern and ancient technologies we can re-create ourselves into better humans...super humans even.

How to Survive Midlife Crisis
Before I forget...
I wanted to point everyone to a squidoo page called How to Survive Midlife Crisis.
Squidoo is a very cool site which allows you to create as many "lenses" as you desire about whatever you desire.
Consider creating a lens...its fun and you can actually make money off of it through residual income.

Breaking free and creating my reality
Plans are in the works... setting myself up as a full time freelance web developer / integrator and as a affiliate marketer. Why? I'm tired of sitting in an office that isn't in my house for 9 hours everyday. I used to develop from home and I loved the flexibility of it. I took the job seeing dollar signs. It's not freedom though.
My goal in life is freedom. To be free to travel, explore, not be tied down, etc
so..the plans are in the works.. to create my reality as I see fit.
My thanks to Joe Vitale, John Wingert and so many other reality creation gurus who helped me see the light. They are my models, my inspiration.
Why should anyone be chained to a desk in this day and age of modern technology, of the internet which allows communication from anywhere in the world.
The dream..my dream, is going to be a reality.

The Attractor Factor and Illusions
I took the family to the Miami Metro Zoo this weekend. Now, if you have never been you should know that this zoo is unlike any zoo you have probably ever been to. You don't get the sense that the animal are caged or unhappy. The animals are free to roam within their areas in a natural setting. The zoo doesn't feel like a prison and the energy is positive. I feel attracted to the zoo...
...Over the last couple weeks I have been pulled or should I say attracted to Joe Vitale's
material. In particular the audio book called "The Attractor Factor
". Listening to this material has been opening my eyes to concepts that I learned so long ago but could never make it work. I've always believed that I could create my own reality. The concept hit home after reading "Illusions
" by Richard Bach
many years ago. The book was passed to me by a roommate with her telling me I had to read this. The first time I read the book I had tears in my eyes. The truth of it was so clear. We truly do create our realities. I re-read that book at least a 100 times and have passed out multiple copies which of course always required me to buy a new copy. I still have a copy stored in a box somewhere.
The problem with "Illusions
" is that it didn't say how to do it. Sure, it taught to believe and you would get what you desired. Write your own movie it tells you. Great! But it didn't tell you how to get past all the negative crap we have within ourselves which likes to pop up during the reality creation process. All the doubt, fear, and other such silliness.
So...this brings me back to Joe Vitale's
book, "The Attractor Factor
". Did you know that Joe was in the movie "The Secret
"? Another great piece of work that lets us know that we can create our own realities. Again..the question? How to do that? Joe breaks it down in his "The Attractor Factor
". I've been working through the 5 steps to creating my own reality.
In a nut shell...It's all about attraction. We attract what we focus on, what we believe in. If you focus on all the negative crap that what you are going to get in your life. If you are constantly thinking about getting cancer or getting hit in a car eventually that will happen. Why? Because the universe gives you what you focus on. Keep focusing on what you don't want will only give you what you don't want.
So...a shift of focus is necessary. FOCUS on WHAT YOU WANT. Nothing else. Don't think about all the bad things that "Could" happen.
Think it, live it, be it.
The universe will open the doors for you to get what you desire. So head towards your dream don't worry about the little details. Stay focused and the details will fill themselves in. Perhaps you'll meet a key person at a store or the money will fall in your lap from somewhere totally unexpected. If you truly believe and desire it the way will become clear.
get the book
...work through it to remove your negativity. Focus on your what you desire.
...so why do I feel attracted to the zoo, not just any zoo, but the Miami Metro Zoo. The energy is right. I feel peaceful there. The bird aviary is a sanctuary, a nice place to get away to...

Everglades Burning and up in smoke in Miami
We spent the weekend covered in smoke and ash from the Everglades fire. We live in Kendall so we are in direct path of all the smoke and ash coming through. Last night just before dusk we were sitting outside watching our son shoot off his Air Hog Rocket, which is a blast (literally) by the way. We found a used one for $7 at the Sunrise flea market. Oh yea, we love our flea markets and garage sales. Anyhow..as we were watching him blast off the rocket (which he kept saying he was shooting into space :-) ) we could see huge flakes of ash floating down. It almost felt like we were next to an erupting volcano. The constant smell of burning wood was in the air and the smoke keeps seeping into the house, much to the consternation of my wife. She is highly sensitive to smells and develops migraines easily so of course all that smoke was a big concern. Well, now after reading the news it seems we will be dealing with the smoke from the fires burning in the Florida Everglades for a few more days.
Speaking of fire, You need to head over to Joe Vitale's aka Mr Fires website. He is a master at hypnotic marketing and from what I can tell, on the warrior path of excellence. I intend to get some reviews of his products asap posted here as well as over on http://www.warriorzone.com
Check out his podcasts as well for tons of free information concerning internet marketing as well as persuasion skills.
So, I'm off to go play in the smoke...just kidding. Actually I need to seal this house up a bit better.
Play Hard and remember we can all chose to be happy at anytime. So be happy NOW!

Miami Beaches, Coral Gables, Motorcycles, and photoshield
It's been a little while since my last post. Things are settling down here in the wonderful city of Miami. I was bit harsh on when I spoke badly about Miami. There are some awesome things about this place. First, there is Coral Gables. I work there... drive down Coral Way... Sidewalk cafes, fine dining, elegant shops. This is the Miami you see on TV. The biggest shock about Miami is culture shock. It's like moving to another country. Seriously, you'll feel like you moved to Central America. I feel the need to take a Spanish class. Oh, did I mention the beaches? Oh my God...we are talking about some seriously sexy women and they aren't just on the beaches. They are everywhere. My wife and I were told by a couple girls at Blockbuster that Miami has a very high divorce rate due to all the (as they called them) 'skanks". I'm guessing that there are a lot of gold diggers here. Not surprising with all the millionaires that live here. So, ok, Miami does have it's perks. Just don't drive in rush hour, ignore the rudeness of just about everyone and it's all good.
Something else about South Florida...Motorcycles. They are everywhere. These guys like to race and you can hear it all night long. I highly recommend the photo shield for these guys. Get it and cover your license plate. I know, I know, you guys think you can out run the cops and you probably can. But what about all those damn cameras? Can we say busted? Get the photo shield if you going to race around South Florida. Seriously.

Road Warrior in Miami
To live in Miami and if you drive you need to be a road warrior. Simple as that. Maybe it's just me...I've never lived in a large city. But here...you need to be on your toes. Stay alert because you are guaranteed to get cut off or to have to hit the brakes with only seconds to spare.
I know, I know...a lot of you live in big cities...your used to it. Maybe I just got lax with my driving skills living in small towns. Well my skills are being finely honed in the city of Miami..lol.
A suggestion for you city drivers...shoot if you drive anywhere anymore. Get the Photo Shield Cover. You'll thank me later. CSI Miami even had an episode about it. If you want to keep the camera's from seeing your license plates then I highly recommend it. They take enough of your money with toll roads and parking fees.
So...I'm thinking a school for defensive driving in the city would be ideal. A sure money maker. Probably teach self defense against car jackings, evasive driving, how to react if something happens (like a flat) at 70 miles an hour, etc. Could be fun. Maybe someones already doing it?
Your thoughts?

Intense Negativity
Wow...the high is gone. So far moving to Miami and even the new job have been serious let downs.
Miami is overcrowded and hectic non-stop. Nobody is nice and people tend to be very pushy. I'm the type of person where most things just don't bother me. I tend not to attract the negative people and good things tend to happen to me. I always say I have the luck of the Irish and a Sagittarius. But this town..it's different. I think everyone hates themselves here.
I spend all day at work and the mornings and evenings driving. I won't be able to train here...all I do is sleep and work.
I dislike people who bitch and complain and I'm doing it now. I need a new path to open before me another web job that I can do from home. I would like to move out of Miami up and head up to Melbourne. We were up there last weekend dropping off the wifes kids and it was so pleasant with great energy.
The secret says "just ask for it". Well I'm asking for it. I need to be happy again. The last 3 weeks have been hell.
Not a great warrior attitude I know. Well, I am only human...

It's a grand day.
Yesterday we found a house in East Kendall which borderlines Coral Gables. Awesome area lots to do around here from a social standpoint, dining, entertainment, beaches, etc. Now it's time to hunt down the warrior element. It's a whole new playground and I'm ready to play warrior style ;-)
Stay tuned to the blog as I bring you new Warrior Tech updates....

Made it to Miami...
... and it was a hell of a ride. We rented a Penske truck, loaded our crap in it, stuck our mini-van on the trailer and hit the road. Typically we could make the drive from Harker Heights, TX to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 2 days, 3 if we feel lazy. This trip took us nearly 4.5 days. Spent way more than we thought we would in hotels, diesel, food. So now here we sit in a hotel spending way to much everyday. I'm working though so this weekend we'll find a long-term efficiency or vacation rental then hopefully in a month or two save enough to get into a house.
I can't even describe how sore I am after that drive. I'm thankful for kettlebell and body weight training to help me work the kinks out. Not easy to do in a hotel room I assure you. Particularly with the wife, my 5 year old, 3 cats, 2 gerbils and 2 fish all packed in...fun stuff :-)
Anyhow...I'll keep posting as events happen. I hope to be back into training full time soon enough.
Cheers!

Moving
Changes are afoot for me.
The family and I are moving from Texas back to Florida. I was offered a job with Oxidev in Coral Gables. The good news is that there will be plenty of training opportunities for in Florida. I know that there are a couple of Bujinkan Shidoshi in Miami. I'm also thinking about attending some of Matt Furey's seminars over in Tampa. On top of that there are instructors in Palm Beach, Orlando, Melbourne (Dick Severance).
I'm sorry to have to leave Boulders climbing gym in Harker Heights but I know there is a nice one in Miami which should be killer. The crappy thing is that Florida doesn't have anywhere to do any rock climbing in the great outdoors. In fact there isn't much of anything to do in the outdoors unless it happens to be water based. Guess I'll be taking up Ocean Kayaking. I used to scuba dive and sail so I may take that up again.
Anyhow...
The Warrior Tech blog will continue and the launch of WarriorZone.com is immanent.

Wall Climbing and a busy week...
...it's been over a week since my last post and it's been a busy one.
The company I work for did a new release of our website so I've been coding like a madman. It's what I do. I'm a web developer...I call myself an integrator because I specialize in taking a graphic designers graphics and integrating it with PHP or Cold Fusion.
Anyhow...I went climbing today at our local Harker Heights climbing gym. Just got a membership over the weekend. You know? Haven't climbed for about 10 years, since I lived in Flagstaff, AZ where I would boulder, rappel, and climb all over Elden mountain. I tell you what, if your into getting in shape naturally, it no machines, weights, gizmos...go rock/wall climbing or boulder. Why? Because it's like swimming...but on dry land, actually vertically. Going vertical is outstanding ;-)
Another way to get do a body weight workout is to pickup a copy of Pavels Naked Warrior for a full course on how to get in shape with just your body weight. Pavel will have you doing thing you never thought you could do. Of course you may be cursing him too..but he's Russian so he can take it :-)
So..things are slowing down. I'm getting back to work on warriorzone.com and hope to have it fully launched by the end of the month. I'll keep you warriors posted.
Cheers!

About warrior zone
I hope everyone had a great weekend...
I spent time with my wife and son. Worked a bit on my new website Warrior Zone. It isn't quite ready yet but I'll be sure to let everyone know about it when it is ready.
I was contemplating the internet and how wonderful it makes life. I actually work from home doing webdesign for a company and I work on my own projects for the warrior community. In fact my new website Warrior Zone will be all about the community and provide a place for everyone to hang out, promote themselves and their seminars, chat, bitch, etc.
In the mean time do me a favor and head over to russiankettlebells.com. Not only will you be helping me but you'll be helping yourself...
Have an awesome week everyone...
and...
Keep on training the Warrior Way!

Dominate 2008
Something about this year...2008. Doesn't it feel like it is the year to Domin8?
Don't we have the right to Domin8? to finally become who we are meant to be? To break away from the chains that bind us?
I don't know about you but this is my year. My year to Domin8 my life and to make my life happen.
Won't you join me?
ps. Checkout 20/20's Shadow Scout program. He is giving the manual away for free. Get over there now
